Zayn Malik thanks fans and Harry Styles' mum makes cupcakes as One Direction celebrate 2 years together

The One Direction boys are celebrating today as they mark 2 years since their formation on The X Factor.

Zayn Malik, 19, thanked 1D fans for helping him and his band mates to become one of the world's biggest groups.

The lads' friends and family are also thrilled  with how successful they've been since coming 3rd on the ITV reality show in 2010.

Liam Payne's girlfriend Danielle Peazer, 24, Tweeted a Directioner saying that she was 'so proud' while Harry Styles' mum Anne Cox has been making cupcakes for her 'pure gold' boys.
