Zayn Malik: One of the best things about being in One Direction is getting nice hotel rooms with big beds

Zayn Malik's favourite perk of being in One Direction isn't very rock'n'roll - the singer just wants a nice hotel room with a big comfy bed.

The 1D heartthrob is happy so long as he gets a good night's sleep when the boys are on the road.

‘I'm not bothered about what we get before or after shows as long as our room is comfortable,' says Zayn, 19.

‘If I can sleep well, then everything is going to be OK. To me, after any day, I just want the biggest, most comfortable bed in our hotel.

‘It is one of the best things about being in the band - getting nice hotel rooms.'

It seems like it really is the simple things that make Zayn happy - his One Direction bandmate Niall Horan recently Tweeted about the pair's favourite snacks.

‘meself and @zaynmalik are goin for the pot noodle and wotsits days again!' Niall, 18, told his Twitter followers.
