One Direction and Emeli Sande confirmed for X Factor final !

One Direction and Emeli Sande have confirmed that they will perform at the X Factor final.

The chart-topping acts will appear alongside the final three hopefuls in the competition in front of 12,000 fans at Manchester Central.

The show will take place on the weekend of December 8 and 9, with the final three contestants to be decided after this weekends semi-final featuring Chris Maloney, Union J, Jahmene Douglas and James Arthur.

The final has been known for big-name stars doing duets with the finalists, with past appearances coming from the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna and Take That.

Meanwhile, Loose Women's Jane McDonald has offered to perform a duet with Liverpudlian Chris Maloney.

She told ITV1's This Morning: “I would be very proud to sing alongside him. I think he's had a rough ride.”
