One Direction is in New York City for several performances and other work-related appearances. The group spent much of December 5 rehearsing for upcoming performances on December 7 at SiriusXM, "Late Show With David Letterman" and radio station Z100's all-star Jingle Ball concert. (One Direction will only do a few songs at each of these appearances. The appearance on "Late Show With David Letterman" was prerecorded on December 6, 2012 and will be televised on December 7.)
One Direction's Liam Payne, 19, has yet to make a public statement about the status of his relationship with 24-year-old dancer Danielle Peazer, but sources say that privately he has confirmed the obvious: They are back together. On December 5, 2012, the couple had another romantic date in New York City, this time at Nello's restaurant.The couple has been dating since 2010, but split up in September 2012, due to Payne's busy work schedule, harassment from One Direction fans and other pressures of fame.
In December 2012, Payne and Peazer have been seen and photographed in New York City on romantic dates and holding hands while paparazzi and fans follow them on the streets. In other words, Payne and Peazer aren't trying to hide their reunion.
As previously reported, many One Direction fans had hoped this reunion would happen, since Peazer has been well-liked by many One Direction fans and many fans believe that Payne and Peazer are a well-matched couple who are truly in love. The couple met in 2010 when Payne was a contestant on "The X Factor" U.K. and she was a backup dancer on the show. (One Direction came in third place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010.)
When it comes to One Direction's love lives, Niall Horan, 19, is currently the only unattached member of the group.
Harry Styles, 18, is dating Grammy winner Taylor Swift, 22. Although they have not publicly commented on the status of their relationship, they have been acting like a couple in public since November 2012. Whether or not the relationship is exclusive, the two stars have not been seen dating other people since they went public with their romance in November. While in New York City in December 2012, Styles has been having sleepover dates at Swift's hotel and has not tried to hide these dates from paparazzi and fans, as he enters and leaves the hotel through the front entrance.
Louis Tomlinson, 20, has been dating University of Manchester student Eleanor Calder, 20, since late 2011.
Zayn Malik, 19, and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, 19, have been a couple since April 2012. (Little Mix is the 2011 winner of "The X Factor" U.K.)
All of the girlfriends spent time with their beaus in New York City and attended One Direction's milestone concert at Madison Square Garden on December 3, as well as the party after the concert.
Edwards flew back to London on December 4 to have her tonsils removed and is recovering from the surgery. As previously reported, she had to cancel her December 2012 appearances with Little Mix as a result of this health issue.
However, Peazer, Calder and Swift will be in New York City on December 7 for One Direction's Z100 Jingle Ball performance at Madison Square Garden. Swift is also one of the performers at the concert, whose lineup also includes Justin Bieber, Ne-Yo, Cher Lloyd, fun., Olly Murs, The Wanted and Jason Mraz. There have been false rumors that Swift will perform a duet on stage with One Direction at the Jingle Ball concert. The were also false rumors about Swift doing a duet with One Direction at One Direction's Madison Square Garden show on December 3, but that duet never happened.
